Video Shows 2,000hp Gallardo Making a Splash at FL 1/2 Mile Event

It has been an eventful past few weeks for Lamborghini owners.

Last week, we saw an idiotic !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! owner reach 208 mph on a public highway before crashing. Fortunately, the owner and passenger escaped the fiery wreck with their lives, though there was no saving the gorgeous Verde Mantis example of Lamborghini's latest and greatest.

This week, we get to see that Huracan's older and more powerful brother spectacularly splash into a disputed body of water after losing control at Florida's Wanna Go Fast standing ½ mile event. This particular Gallardo is a Heffner TT variant producing 2,000 hp. The AWD and sticky R888 tires were clearly no match for the driver's skill and/or conditions.

While hilarious debate continues in the YouTube comments as to whether the Gallardo splashed into a pond, lake, or drainage reservoir, there is little doubt that this driver's undergarments need as much cleaning as the Gallardo.

Did anyone else immediately think of Mr. House's infamous !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! crash?
